#39-Sitting in Starbucks again...

Well, this is the second time in two days that I'm blogging in Starbucks. Yesterday, it was a movie outing alone and before and after that I was at Starbucks, surfing the net as well as blogging. Today, my mum wanted to come to Gurney to shop for some stuff to give to relatives before going to Singapore on Saturday. So I was like ok, I shall follow. So grabbed my laptop and headed for Gurney in PHE25.

#37-Blogging & Vain Me...

Alex Khoo here, your one and only source into the scandalous life of Scott Road's elite (ME!).

Nahhhh!!! I'm just joking, been addicted to Gossip Girl since I first saw the article on this show in Wikipedia several months back.

Anyways, back to the main topic. Ahh, let's see, I've been blogging for a month now, I started mid-last month and it has been going strong, this is my 37th post so it's good. I've also come to realise apart from blogging, my new interests also involves photography, I've been taking a lot of pictures lately wherever I go to, and also pictures of myself.

Just some pictures of me, some random stuff and a lil' on my outing yesterday.

#36-Movie Outing, My Wife Is A Gambling Maestro

Watched this today, it's a good show, 7/10.
It's funny how they named four caracters in the show after famous people, Leo Ku, Jay Chou, Pamela Anderson and Eason Chan. Haha. Lol.
Nick Cheung as Jay Chou looks a bit sloppy in the show. Not to his usual self I see.
Natalie Meng as Pamela Anderson/Lung Ying Ying was good. Winks;)she's hot. Lol.

#35-Preparing for Singapore!

Well, going to Singapore this Saturday, of course la have to pack right?
Yesterday, got the bags out and just wanted to show you my lovely pink luggage and a couple of vain pictures of me :-).

Ah, this luggage, was actually bought with my brother's own luggage, it was like a promotion or something, both are pink just that my brother's one is bigger than mine. There's alot of history with this bag. It got stranded @ Heathrow last year, went on the Scandinavian cruise with me, and it went on the 1-month holiday to Europe with me last year! How I miss that trip. Might blog about that sometime later.

Bag! Pink! Yay!

I still have the Princess Cruise tag still on.

Proof that it's my bag.

You see me again :-)

#32-This Morning...

Well, I've no idea what has gotten into me this morning. I suddenly felt like going to the market. Means that I'll have to wake up early. I remembered last week, I kept on telling myself, that the next 2 weeks will be May Break and I can sleep late. But, I woke up early this morning, 7.15 to be exact. Went to the market with my mum and for breakfast after that.

Marketing basket. Nice.

Oh, vaining in the market!

#31-Yesterday's Events...

Well, again the plain old boring routine happened yesterday; woke up-lunch-work-tuition-dinner-work-leisure-sleep. I need to get out more often now, but I think I'll save all my energy for this Saturday until the following Thursday where I'll be in Singapore :DD!! YAY!

See that BMW? It's the first 320i Sport I see on the road. Reg. No. WRE138.

Me :-)

I don't like new Britney songs, but this is good.

Sorry if the pic is blurry, the car was moving and I just left my camera on burst mode. What happened to that house, you must be thinking? Well, apparently, as said in the papers, sometime 1 a.m. or so earlier that day, a guy lost control of his BMW and skidded and crashed into that house. Nothing major happened. And interestingly, that's the 2nd time that person's house got hit in 6 months. Awww....

Peach and Passionfruit Ahmad Tea, my fav. drink at the moment.

Yea man. Rock On!

Hmm...it stands for Moro Islamic Liberation Front, what else were you thinking??? Sigh.

Me again :-)

#26-Penang Swimming Club

Well, we're not members of this club, we're just visitors, my granduncle was kind enough to take us here for dinner today and so yea, we came in PHE25 (our usual outing vehicle) ate dinner at a german restaurant at the 'snake tepmle', not the real one, it's just a name for that rectangular building at one corner of the swimming pool at PSC. Oh, btw, the swimming pool at PSC is huge, Olympic sized pool, nearly 4 times the size of our pool at home. Anyways, while eating there, I met an old friend, her name's Ai Ching, we just waved, no talking, my mum did talk to her mum though. She's at Dalat now, an American syllabus based school here in Penang. My god, it seems that among all my kindergarten school friends, I'm the only one going to a shitty local school.

Well, after dinner, the 5 of us went for dessert at a place that sells crepe along Gurney Drive, pretty good place, love their crepes, just a lil' bit expensive, but, it's alright.

Floor 3 of the parking garage, our car is at the far end of the garage.

Another picture of the sea, this time from the pathway to the club.

Picture of the PSC swimming pool, see I told you it was huge.

Low tide. Lol.

High tide. Lol.

Damn chun the four condos there. 1 unit per floor, average 38 floors per unit, approx 2mil for a unit? I would love to stay on the 38th floor of the unit the furthest to the right, the lucky person must have a wonderful view.

The restaurant.

#24-Friday Night Outing

Well, almost every Friday after tution, all of us will go out for dinner and maybe a movie. That's what happened today, we went to Gurney in the beloved PHE25. Ate at Kim Gary, more of that in my food blog.

Originally, we wanted to watch the newest Indiana Jones show, but the seats were like too far infront, so, we watched What Happens In Vegas. OMG, that's show was like terribly hilarious and I was like practically laughing throughout it. And I love Ashton Kutcher, big fan of his shows. Cameron Diaz wasn't too bad also, quite beautiful. Rating for the show, 8/10.

#23-Shopping @ Tesco

Well, yesterday, I didn't go to school because they were having Worship Day as well as Teacher's Day celebrations. So, yea. Instead, woke up around 10, got ready and followed my mother to pick up my aunt and my grandaunt to head to the Malaysian Buddhist Meditation Centre (MBMC) for a dana. Well, I didn't take any pictures cause I felt lazy to take pictures.

Anyways, after that since we had some free time, all of us decided to go to Tesco. YAY! Tesco! Haha. It's a nice place to shop, but if I were in England, I'd go to Sainsbury instead of Tesco. But in Penang, there's only Tesco or Giant. So, Tesco it is.

At Tesco, there's this new parking system at the parking garage, where like all other parking garages, you'll need to take the ticket and pay. But temporarily, it's free (Before this, it was completely free, no ticket, nothing).

The parking ticket and something about the new parking system;

The entrance to Tesco hypermarket;

Well, recently prices of household and daily items have gone up. One of them is rice. On my previous trip to Tesco, the aisle for rice was like all empty, save for maybe about 50 bags of rice or so? Anyways today,

Yay! Supply of rice is back, but

Who the hell would want to pay RM51.00 for a bag of rice? That's off. At least the others were alright, in the RM20-RM40 price range.

Honey pineapples, with slightly reddish thorns.

Ribena, fav. drink, my brother like the call it the purple liquid. Hah.

So, yea, pretty much that's it for this post, Tesco shopping is always nice :-). I'm a guy who likes to shop. Yea..mmmm.....
