National Service (NS) or Program Latihan Khidmat Negara (PLKN) is a stupid program for 17 year old selected Malaysian citizens to go and train and apparently to protect the country. Total bullshit. I've seen a lot of cases in the newspaper, trainees get raped, some died, some got tortured and etc. etc.
