VivoCity which is miles better then Queensbay and Gurney, is the largest shopping mall to date in Singapore. It opened on the 1st of December 2006 and it took over the largest mall spot from Suntec City. It covers 1,500,000 square feet of gross floor area and it has retail space of approx. 1,100,000 square feet. There are several famous outlets here, such as, Tangs, Toys'R'US, M.A.C, Candy Empire, Starbucks, Haagen-Dazs, Mango, Nike, GAP, and etc. etc.
