#54-Updating with New Astro Cards and Apple's WWDC 2008

Well, our new Astro smartcards arrived sometime in the last few days and in a time frame of a week, we're required to install the new smartcards in or not our own Astro service will end. So, on Sunday, I called up Astro first (they have shitty customer service, btw) to check whether the recorded programmes on AstroMAX will be deletedif I install the new card, the first lady said yes, and she i asked her, really? She said she will call the technician to confirm and ask the technician to give me a call back (that never happened). So, I called up for a 2nd time and this ady who picked up sieemed to know more and straight away, she told me that the programmes will not be deleted as the updates only include the services not wiping out the entire hard drive. So, inserted and it was all good after that.

Apart from that, earlier this morning at about 1am, Apple's 2008 Worldwide Developers Conference started, mind you it's 10am Monday 9th June 2008 over there in California. They were suppose to announce several new products there and one of them was the highly anticipated 2nd-generation iPhone with 3G. It will be in stores worldwide starting the 11th of July 2008.
