SIGHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHH....................................

Tomorrow, which is the 1st of January, I'll be flying off to the UK for college. Partly I'm excited, but a part of me is also sad because I'm leaving Penang, my home for the past 17 years. So, yesterday, me, Kimberly and Fione went out to Queensbay first, Tesco second, and Gurney Plaza last. We had a fun and exciting day and it was a good time spent. I did some shopping with them, shopping with girls can be good sometimes. I got a new pair of shoes, some stationery, a sling bag, a T-shirt, and some food stuff.


The CR-V hit 17,000km yesterday.

#254-Movie Outing, Quantum of Solace 03:15

Well, another year, another Bond movie, this is actually the 22nd Official Bond movie since the whole movie franchise started in 1962! This time, it is called Quantum of Solace and I must say, I kind of prefered Casino Royale better. Daniel Craig, Judi Dench, Jeffery Wright, and Giancarlo Giannini reprises their roles as James Bond, M, Felix Leiter and Rene Mathis respectively. The Bond girls this time are, Olga Kurylenko as Camille Montes, and Gemma Arterton as Strawberry Fields. This Bond movie's main villian is Dominic Greene who is played by Mathieu Amalric.

There are quite a number of cars appearing in the show such as Bond's Aston Martin DBS which actually only has a small part in this film, which is at the beginning when the car chase happened. Also involved in the car chase was an Alfa Romeo 159. Sweet looking car I must say! The new 2nd-generation Ford Ka also made it's on-screen debut driven by the main Bond girl, Camille Montes. There is also the Range Rover Sport, which was originally driven by Miss Fields and later by James Bond. In Austria, Bond drives a Volvo S40. There is also a Daimler Double Six and Ford Edge used by the villian, Dominic Greene.

I watched this show 2 Fridays ago, which is the Friday after the last SPM paper for us on Thursday.

I was out the whole day at G Hotel attending this event, the H-Factor Creative Youth Workshop 2008. The workshop was pretty awesome and it has a number of celebrities, such as Hannah Tan herself who is also the main person behind this event, Harith Iskandar, Serena C, Pietro, Hans Issac, David Lai and a couple more. For more info, go to http://www.h-factor.info/. I'm too lazy and tired to describe the whole event here. Side note, after today, I'm officially a fan of Harith Iskandar. Man, he's just terribly funny. A lot of jokes he made! Here I'll post pictures related to the event and also some not related to the event but were taken around the area of the event. I'll post pictures I took with the celebs on a different post.
