#289-Gran Torino trailer

This is the trailer for a 2008 movie directed by, produced by and starring Clint Eastwood. From the Gran Torino page on Wikipedia about it's plot/summary, I can tell that it will be a good movie to watch. It will be released here in the United Kingdom on the 20th of February which is this Friday. I will catch the movie if possible.

Click on the link above to know more about the movie and it's characters.

#254-Movie Outing, Quantum of Solace

Well, another year, another Bond movie, this is actually the 22nd Official Bond movie since the whole movie franchise started in 1962! This time, it is called Quantum of Solace and I must say, I kind of prefered Casino Royale better. Daniel Craig, Judi Dench, Jeffery Wright, and Giancarlo Giannini reprises their roles as James Bond, M, Felix Leiter and Rene Mathis respectively. The Bond girls this time are, Olga Kurylenko as Camille Montes, and Gemma Arterton as Strawberry Fields. This Bond movie's main villian is Dominic Greene who is played by Mathieu Amalric.

There are quite a number of cars appearing in the show such as Bond's Aston Martin DBS which actually only has a small part in this film, which is at the beginning when the car chase happened. Also involved in the car chase was an Alfa Romeo 159. Sweet looking car I must say! The new 2nd-generation Ford Ka also made it's on-screen debut driven by the main Bond girl, Camille Montes. There is also the Range Rover Sport, which was originally driven by Miss Fields and later by James Bond. In Austria, Bond drives a Volvo S40. There is also a Daimler Double Six and Ford Edge used by the villian, Dominic Greene.

I watched this show 2 Fridays ago, which is the Friday after the last SPM paper for us on Thursday.

This is the trailer.

#210-P.S. I Love You

I have just finished watching the movie P.S. I Love You on the DVD that I bought last Friday. The video above is the trailer for the movie that I found on YouTube. I must say, this is a pretty good movie on my standards. It stars Gerard Butler as Gerry Kennedy, Hilary Swank as Holly Kennedy, Lisa Kudrow as Denise Hennessey, Gina Gershon as Sharon McCarthy, Kathy Bates as Patricia Reilly, and Harry Connick Jr. as Daniel Connelly. I give it a 9/10 for the whole show. Some may find it funny at times and also touching at other times in the show. Below are some still shots from the movie.

#206-Movie Outing, Money No Enough 2

The above trailer is the movie that I just watched yesterday. Another one of Jack Neo's great efforts. It's definitely a good laugh for some parts and touching at some others. It stars Jack Neo himself as Yang Bao Qiang, Mark Lee as Yang Bao Huang, Henry Thia as Yang Bao Hui, Malaysian actress Lai Ming as the Mother, Lin Ru Ping as Bao Hui's wife, Zhu Ling Ling as Bao Qiang's wife, Vivian Lai as Bao Huang's wife and John Cheng as Chen Guan Sai. I give it a 8.5/10.

#205-Yesterday.

Well, it started off with a morning at school. There was Worship Day for the Form 3, Form 5 and Upper Six students. I myself went to the hall where the Buddhists were suppose to gather at. The school invited a couple of monks over from Mahindarama and we prayed and they gave us some blessings. Then it was straight to recess. After that 2 periods of Maths where Ms. Khoo just gave the answers for the recent Maths 1 paper and after that was about 1 1/2 free periods. After that, for Physics, Mr. Sim just thought some Physics and again free period. It was early dismissal today because it's the last day of school before the one week break. And I waited about 45 minutes for transport home to arrive. Mum was busy and dad came to fetch me around 12.50pm-ish. I figured out it was a total waste of time going to school yesterday. There were only 8 people present in my class.

Afternoon was just the same. Maths tuition in the evening. After tuition was dinner and a movie at Gurney. Had Chili's for dinner. Awesome dinner again! Then, the four of us caught Money No Enough 2. It was a great movie I must say. Another excellent job from Jack Neo. Then, it was back, bathed and now I'm typing this blogpost.

#104-Forgetting Sarah Marshall

I just finished watching this movie not too long ago, and quite frankly I find it pretty good. 8.7/10 for me. It stars Jason Segel, Mila Kunis, Kristen Bell and Russell Brand among other stars in the show. OHMGG, Mila Kunis is so hot in the movie and not to mention Kristen Bell too! Some peeps might remember Kristen Bell from Veronica Mars, Heroes and in Gossip Girl as the titular caracter a.k.a the show's narrator. Mila Kunis is most probably famous for Meg Griffin in the Family Guy series and also for being Macaulay Culkin's girlfriend. Anyways, I'm now sooooo a fan of both Mila and Kristen. Oh and yea, if you get the uncensored version of the show, you are bound to see some full frontal nudity by Jason Segel. It's apparently because the producer, Judd Apatow wants to have a 'penis' in every of shows since the day he made his announcement.

A poster for the film that I took from Wikipedia.

Mila Kunis, I think she has a blend of Vanessa Hudgens and Aishwarya Rai Bachchan, don't you?

Kristen Bell.

Both of them together.

#58-Movies Galore...

Well, today has been good so far. Woke up at 11 today, got ready, waited for mum to come back and off I go to Gurney for a movie. At first, I watched Kung Fu Panda, it's an alright show, I give it a 7.0/10. The next movie I watched was The Incredible Hulk. The show was pretty good, a 8.9/10. I must say for your money's worth, I guess watching The Incredible Hulk will be better. I'm not saying the Kung Fu Panda show isn't good, it's just that I didn't quite like it, I'm not sure what other people think tho'. Oh and between the KFP and TIH movies, I took a chance to go to the Switch World event located at the Concourse Area of Gurney Plaza. Took some shots there, gonna submit it for the photography contest later. But I don't think I'll have the chance to win the Nikon DSLR as to win that you'll need to take shots during the fashion show, but my movie will start at 2.30pm, the fashion show also started at 2.30pm, so yea *sigh*. I'm now in Starbucks sippin' on my Dark Mocha Frap (must be my most fav. drink in Starbucks for now). Waiting for dinner tonight. It's at Chili's with my parents and my brother who just came back from England. And since petrol price on Malaysia increased to RM2.70/litre, I wouldn't bother going back home although my house is quite near Gurney. Save petrol what! Heh.

#36-Movie Outing, My Wife Is A Gambling Maestro

Watched this today, it's a good show, 7/10.
It's funny how they named four caracters in the show after famous people, Leo Ku, Jay Chou, Pamela Anderson and Eason Chan. Haha. Lol.
Nick Cheung as Jay Chou looks a bit sloppy in the show. Not to his usual self I see.
Natalie Meng as Pamela Anderson/Lung Ying Ying was good. Winks;)she's hot. Lol.

#24-Friday Night Outing

Well, almost every Friday after tution, all of us will go out for dinner and maybe a movie. That's what happened today, we went to Gurney in the beloved PHE25. Ate at Kim Gary, more of that in my food blog.

Originally, we wanted to watch the newest Indiana Jones show, but the seats were like too far infront, so, we watched What Happens In Vegas. OMG, that's show was like terribly hilarious and I was like practically laughing throughout it. And I love Ashton Kutcher, big fan of his shows. Cameron Diaz wasn't too bad also, quite beautiful. Rating for the show, 8/10.
